When I asked the kids what they thought Columbus saw when he landed in the New World, one boy said, “The airport, duh.”

When learning the names of the three ships, the kids gasped as they heard about the Santa Maria. “SANTA,” one boy cries! Another whispers to his neighbor, “Is that Santa’s wife’s name…Maria?”
